This is a list of the 100 largest cities in the U.S. state of California ranked by population, based on estimates for July 1, 2023, by the United States Census Bureau. San Francisco is a consolidated city–county, which means that San Francisco County does not contain any CDPs. The census-designated places in this list have a population of 10,000 or higher.
