Slack Desktop app not opening. Whenever I try to launch slack app nothing happens. Even if there are some slack background processes in Task manager. This could happen if your Slack isn't updating properly, I'd recommend uninstalling and then re-installing from the web. Update: Normal Downloading and reinstalling through the slack website does ...
In the white Slack screen, click in the top left corner. This should give you the drop-down menu. Select Help -> Troubleshooting -> Clear Cache and Restart. If a white screen appears again, try Help -> Troubleshooting -> Toggle Hardware Acceleration. Then again run the Clear Cache and restart.
Hello, So I just logged in to another workspace and the slack desktop client refuses to change between workspaces. I tried clicking, double clicking, triple clicking on the workspace and nothing. I tried CTRL+1, CTRL+2 to change them and nothing. I would appreciate some help or some way I can debug this stuff.
On windows 10, slack desktop app started showing just a completely black screen. The app is... alive, as testified by the context menu of the item in the application bar at the bottom, but it will just show a black window. I would post a screenshot, but it's not hard to imagine: it's a black rectangle.
Same symptoms, but on iPad not desktop. For me, none of the solutions I found online worked. I tried to find a solution for this but ...

Hope this helps. Edit: I first tried directly going to my workspace and clicking "open the slack app" but that did not ...
Right-click on the workspace icon from the app, and select ‘Remove [workspace name]’ (or ‘Sign out of [workspace name]’), and that should do it. 2. Reply. Armanda-Reddit1987. • 2 days ago. On windows, select the 'window little icon' on top left of the slack window (next to the 3 lines), then right click on the icon and remove. 1.
If you are on Windows, and it seems to indicate that Slack is the 'active' window and you can't see it, try holding Shift + Windows Key, and then tap the right and left arrows a few times in a row each. This may help restore a window to where you can see it. Long shot, but usually when this happens to me, it's because I'm looking at the monitor ...
