I used to work for Best Buy. At the time they had two credit card options. Citi and then HSBC. I wonder if you were routed to the latter. I am tech savvy, but found out you merely need the BEST BUY app. No other application will let you pay your card online. You can however go and pay in store.
You click register your card and you can verify it without a phone and using Card Number, Name on Card, Security Code, and Last 4 of your social. From there, you can manage your account. You should even be able to verify the info like your phone number. Vote. Reply.
Just wanted to add onto this: it’s not Best Buy. The credit card is through Citibank. You can call the Best Buy support number, but they’ll redirect you to Citibank. The number (I believe) is 1-888-574-1301, or if you have the card it’s directly on the back. Late and missed will affect your credit.

I have had five Best buy Citibank cards issued since the first week of January and a new account number given and still having the same problem. They haven't been able to change my email or my password on the new account but they still change my cell phone number and my communication settings for orders.

Turns out, best buy’s security is pretty good. The solution was to go update my password on Best Buy’s site and then try to connect the account again in Mint. Somehow this let Best Buy know that it’s me trying to connect my accounts. Awesome, that’s exactly what I was going to suggest you try.
