In Meridian, Leah (Lynn Collins) fires the hwacha at the walkers as they flood the complex. A Reaper attacks Maggie (Lauren Cohan), but is shot by an arrow.Maggie hides in a building and meets with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari), who has been injured by shrapnel.
Leah Shaw, portrayed by Lynn Collins, [50] is the former owner of Dog and for a time, during the six-year time jump, formed a love bond with Daryl. She accepted his insistence on searching for Rick, but eventually rejoins the reapers and threatens to kill Maggie, causing Daryl to shoot her in the head.
Leah is aghast but when Pope prepares to fire a hwacha at walker and Reaper alike, she kills him. Despite Daryl inviting her to join his group, Leah refuses, remaining loyal to her family with the Reapers and taking leadership of them. Leah outs Daryl's true allegiance to the other Reapers and attacks the group with the hwacha.
Leah again orders Daryl to surrender any information lest he face the wrath of her leader, Pope. At Pope's quarters, Leah learns that another Reaper, Michael, was found dead. Leah returns to Daryl's cell as Frost is taken away for interrogation, and confides her grief over Michael, who she saw as a younger brother.
Lance's forces locate Leah Shaw, the true perpetrator behind the weapons heist, but Lance decides to hire her as an assassin instead of killing her. In the second part finale "Acts of God," Lance makes his move against the communities, assigning his men to kill Daryl, Aaron and Gabriel while sending more alongside Leah to kill Maggie.
