Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra (KUK) is a university established on 11 January 1956 [2] in Kurukshetra, in the Indian state of Haryana, 160 kilometres (99 mi) from the capital, Delhi. [3] It is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities .
It is a Haryana state-government engineering institute situated in the campus of Kurukshetra University. In 2002, the government issued an order to promote the existing REC, Kurukshetra to the status of National Institute of Technology (NIT), consequently becoming an independent deemed university separated from Kurukshetra University.
It forms a consolidated city-county government with its county seat of Lynchburg. [3] At 130 square miles (340 km 2), it is the second-smallest county in Tennessee, behind only Trousdale. The county was created in 1871, during the Reconstruction era. [1] [4] Moore County is part of the Tullahoma-Manchester, TN Micropolitan Statistical Area.
