Las Cruces High School is a public high school in Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States. LCHS was established in 1918 and is the oldest public high school in Las Cruces. As of the 2021–22 school year, it serves 1,830 students from grades 9–12. [2] It is a part of Las Cruces Public Schools.

The class of 2007 was the only class to be split when Lakes opened. Summer school classes were held at Lakes during June and July 2004, and Gavin grade school students made use of classrooms in the southernmost wing for 15 months starting in the spring of 2004. Formal dedication ceremonies were held on June 12, 2004.
The school is currently ranked 29th in the state for overall education quality. It has also received a Best High School Certification from US News and World Report. [10] In 2007, Sports Illustrated honored Lake City High School with the title of Best Sports Program In Idaho for the 2006-2007 school year.
