Allen Bernard West (born February 7, 1961) [1] is an American politician and retired military officer. A member of the Republican Party, West represented Florida's 22nd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2011 to 2013 and served as the chairman of the Republican Party of Texas from 2020 to 2021.
In 2020, the party adopted the slogan "We are the storm", a phrase also used by believers in the QAnon conspiracy theory, which party chair Allen West [8] [9] identified as a quotation from an unspecified poem. [10] [11] [12] The party opposes LGBT rights, including the right to same-sex marriage.
The company was founded as a housewares manufacturer in 1932 by Theodore Baumritter and his brother-in-law Nathan S. Ancell.
