The Flambeau River, a major tributary of the Chippewa River, flows through the southeast portion of the town. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town of Agenda has a total area of 89.5 square miles (231.9 km 2), of which 88.8 square miles (230.0 km 2) is land and 0.73 square miles (1.9 km 2), or 0.83%, is water. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Mountain School in 2000. It has also been known as Mountain Union Free High School and as State Graded School. [1] [2] A three-story red brick high school built in 1905 at 14330 Highway W West, [2] it was built in three phases, in 1905, 1914, and 1961. [3]
