The Farmers and Merchants State Bank is a bank building in Eureka, Montana.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places August 31, 1995. [1]It was deemed "an excellent and well preserved example of Western Commercial styling, representative of many such small town banks which proliferated throughout Montana during the early 20th century."

The Farmers and Merchants Bank was founded in 1871 by 23 prominent Los Angeles businessmen, with an initial capital of $500,000. The three largest subscribers were financier Isaias W. Hellman ($100,000), former California Governor John G. Downey ($100,000), and Ozro W. Childs ($50,000) who in later years became the founders of the University of Southern California.
The Farmers and Merchants Union Bank is a historic commercial building at 159 West James Street in Columbus, Wisconsin. Built in 1919, it is the last of eight "jewel box" bank buildings designed by Louis Sullivan, and the next to last to be constructed.
