The Grand Beatbox Battle (commonly abbreviated GBB) is an annual international beatboxing competition hosted by Swissbeatbox. The competition holds multiple tournaments for different forms and categories of beatboxing which include: Solo (or Showcase), Loopstation , Tag Team, Crew, Tag Team Loopstation, Producer and Under 18.
The Beatbox Battle World Championship (BBBWC) is hosted triennially (every three years) hosted by Beatbox Battle Tv in a week-long festival held in Berlin, Germany. [1] It is the band's first album to feature drummer Cassiano Toma, and the band's first album to be released under the name 'Paleface Swiss' as the band had to rename due to there being another artist under the name of 'Paleface'. Paleface Swiss is a Swiss deathcore band formed in 2017 in Zurich. [4] The band's lineup currently consists of vocalist of Marc "Zelli" Zellweger, guitarist Yannick Lehmann, bassist Tommy Lee and drummer Cassiano "Cassi" Toma. [ 5 ]
Switzerland was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song "The Code", written by Benjamin Alasu, Lasse Midtsian Nymann, Linda Dale, and Nemo Mettler, and performed by Nemo. The Swiss participating broadcaster, the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR), internally selected its entry, which ultimately won the contest.
