In 1924, the Pullman Car & Manufacturing Corporation was organized from the previous Pullman manufacturing department and recently acquired Haskell & Barker Car Company, to consolidate the car building interests of The Pullman Co. The parent company, The Pullman Co. was established as its own company and Pullman, Inc., was formed on June 21, 1927.
In 1922 they had sufficient confidence to take a stand at the London Motor Show and the name of the company was changed from Nanson, Barker and Company to Airedale Cars. The cars at the show were priced at £575 for a special coupé , £435 for a 4-seat tourer , £425 for a 2-seater with dickey and £375 for a bare chassis.
Barley Motor Car Co. was a manufacturer of luxury automobiles in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Streator, Illinois. It manufactured the Roamer automobile (1916–29) and briefly, the Barley (1922–24), and the Pennant (1924–25).

While still at Deere & Company, W.L Velie incorporated the Velie Motor Vehicle Company in 1908. [4] While he kept his tractor lines separate from the Deere line, his automobiles were marketed through Deere’s branch houses. [5] When he merged his companies in 1916, he formed the Velie Motor Company.
The Madison Motor Company had been incorporated in 1915 with $500,000 capitalization. In October 1916 it was reorganized as the $2 million Madison Motors Corporation . The venture never received sufficient funding and in the early spring of 1919, Madison Motors was taken over by the Bull Tractor Company.
