Circuit de Monaco is a 3.337 km (2.074 mi) street circuit laid out on the city streets of Monte Carlo and La Condamine around the harbour of the Principality of Monaco. It is commonly, and even officially, [ 1 ] referred to as " Monte Carlo " because it is largely inside the Monte Carlo neighbourhood of Monaco.

The monument is located in the district of Monce Carlo, at the intersection of Avenue du Port and Quai Albert 1er. It was placed at one of the turns of the Circuit de Monaco. [1] It is a bronze statue depicting Juan Manuel Fangio and his race car, a 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196. The sculpture corresponds to the actual size of the racing car and driver.

The Monte-Carlo Sporting was built by Group Pastor, a construction company chaired by Victor Pastor, from 1973 to 1974, [2] and renovated in 1999. It is owned by the Société des bains de mer de Monaco (SBM). [3] Many society fundraisers, formerly held at the Sporting d'Hiver, are now held at the Salle des Etoiles inside the Sporting d'été.
