Trinidad Silva, Jr. (January 30, 1950 – July 31, 1988) was an American comedian and character actor who played small supporting roles in a number of films of the 1980s. He is known for the roles of Jesus Martinez, a gang leader in the TV series Hill Street Blues; Frog in the film Colors; and Raul, the bizarre animal lover in "Weird" Al Yankovic's first film, UHF.
Caesar Martinez is a former gym teacher from Augusta, Georgia. Martinez's backstory is told in The Walking Dead novels, The Rise of the Governor, [citation needed] and The Road to Woodbury. [citation needed] In the comics, it was Martinez who conducted Rick, Glenn, and Michonne's entry to Woodbury. [1]

When The Governor joins Martinez's Camp, Martinez discloses to him that Shumpert had become depressed and reckless following the massacre, and was bitten by a walker, forcing Martinez to put him down.
