Rocket League is a 2015 vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix for various home consoles and computers. A sequel to 2008's Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, Rocket League features up to eight players assigned to each of the two teams, using "rocket-powered" vehicles to hit a ball into their opponent's goal and score points over the course of a match.

Rocket Racing is a 2023 racing video game developed by Psyonix and published by Epic Games. It is a spin-off title to the 2015 game Rocket League and is a part of Fortnite as a whole. In the game, up to twelve players compete with each other on a race track, with the goal being to be the first person to complete the race.

Turbopolsa began competing in Rocket League in community-organized tournaments. While he originally had no intention of playing the game professionally, after the team he was on made a deep run in a tournament held shortly before the launch of the Rocket League Championship Series, he and his then-teammates decided to compete together in the newly formed series.
