Waves is an annual cultural festival held at BITS, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa, India to celebrate music, dance and art. [1] [2] It is held over three days, usually during late October or early November. The festival was first held in 2006 [3] with events including dance, drama, literature, comedy, fashion, and music.
Internationally, BITS Pilani was ranked 801-850 band in the QS World University Rankings for 2025 [96] and 171 in Asia. [86] It was ranked 601–800 in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2025, [ 87 ] 251–300 in Asia in 2025 [ 88 ] and 301–350 among emerging economies.
The BITS Pilani Goa Campus was designed by the RSP Design Group. [5] The campus is located in Zuari nagar, Goa, on the banks of the Zuari River and houses more than 4,000 students. [6] The hostels are spread across three regions: 'A', 'C' and a newly constructed 'D', which encompass nine, seven and six hostels respectively.
Quark is the annual international techno-management festival of BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus. It usually takes place in early February, and has thousands of participants. Launched as a local event in 2006, Quark became a national event in 2008. Since then, Quark has consistently seen participation from colleges across India.

Oasis is the annual cultural festival of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Started back in 1971, [1] it is one of the oldest cultural festivals in India. It is usually held towards the end of October every year. Events are organized for a continuous duration of 96 hours and are completely managed by the student body. [2]
