Balgowan is a small coastal town on the west coast of South Australia's Yorke Peninsula.It is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 miles) west of Maitland.Like other towns popular with tourists on Yorke Peninsula, it has a large number of shacks, holiday houses, caravan facilities and a boat ramp.

Port Hughes is a town and locality in the Australian state of South Australia located on northern Yorke Peninsula about 135 kilometres (84 mi) north-west of the state capital of Adelaide. Curramulka, nicknamed "the Currie", is a town in the Australian state of South Australia on the Yorke Peninsula. Curramulka is within easy driving distance of the coastal resort towns of Port Victoria and Port Vincent and is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) north-east of Minlaton. There are caves nearby.
Parsons Beach is a locality on the western side of Yorke Peninsula and eastern side of Spencer Gulf in South Australia. There is a small town at the north end of the locality, set behind the sandhills from the beach. Before 5 September 2017, the village of Parsons Beach was formally the northwestern corner of the locality of Minlaton. [4]
