The Double-headed eagles derby (Greek: Ντέρμπι των Δικέφαλων Αετών) is a football derby between AEK Athens and PAOK.Both teams have the same roots, being refugees from Constantinople (AEK in Nea Filadelfeia, a suburban town in the Athens agglomeration, and PAOK in Thessaloniki), after the Greco-Turkish War, the Asia Minor Catastrophe and the population exchange.
