The Gardner–Webb Runnin' Bulldogs baseball team is the varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the Gardner–Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina, United States. The team competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association 's Division I and is a member of the Big South Conference .
The School of Divinity was also founded during this time. On November 12, 1991, Gardner–Webb was approved to seek university status by the board of trustees. The institution officially became known as Gardner–Webb University in January 1993 and by the early 2000s the school had more than 3,200 students and 135 faculty members.
