Press release from Orange County Public Schools: The annual Black History program was presented at Orange County High School on Thursday, March 12, 2015. In its fifth year, it is a program designed by high school students to present information about Black History, up to and including current-day events.
Orange County is a county located in the central Piedmont region of the Commonwealth of Virginia. At the 2020 census , the population was 36,254. [ 2 ] Its county seat is Orange . [ 3 ]
NB: James City County and the City of Williamsburg operate a joint school system. All of the district's high schools have "Williamsburg" postal addresses, but are located in the County. Orange High School is a historic school located in Orange, Virginia. The first school building at the site was built in 1911 based on a design by noted Virginia architect Charles M. Robinson . The original structure is a 2 + 1 ⁄ 2 -story building with a monumental Doric portico modeled on the Temple of Albano .
