English: South Carolina State Senate District 4 consists of Abbeville, Anderson & Greenwood Counties This is the official state senate district following the state redistricting after the 2020 United States Census. It was created by the South Carolina Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office.
The district is mostly rural, but much of the economy revolves around the manufacturing centers of Anderson and Greenwood. Clemson University, the state's second largest by enrollment, is also in the district. With a Cook Partisan Voting Index rating of R+21, it is the most Republican district in South Carolina. [2]
