He directed Sivakarthikeyan in the comedy film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. In a review of the film, a critic stated that the film is a "jolly good fun ride". [2] The film was a commercial success. [3] Ponram went on to work with Sivakarthikeyan in Rajinimurugan (2016) and Seemaraja (2018).
This is the second directorial venture of Ponram, after Varuthapadaatha Valibar Sangam (2013). It stars Sivakarthikeyan in dual roles for the first time in his career; as the title character, a jobless youth who decides to sell his grandfather's property to become rich; and a cameo appearance as Bosepandi from the previous film.
Sivakarthikeyan Doss was born on 17 February 1985 to a Tamil family in Singampunari, Sivagangai district, he grew up in a family with a public service legacy. His father, G. Doss, was a jail superintendent, and his mother, Raji Doss, is a homemaker.
