Levin Zhu Yunlai (born 29 July 1958 [1]) is a Chinese businessman. He is the son of Zhu Rongji , the former Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China . In 1994, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin , studying atmospheric science.
Zhu later became the Vice-Premier and then the 5th Premier of the People's Republic of China from March 1998 to March 2003. According to Hong, he met Zhu Yunlai through mutual acquittances. Hong had researched the 2008 Chinese milk scandal which at the time had little analysis. Zhu was impressed with the research and recruited Hong to work for CICC. As the recruitment process was very strict, it took until the end of 2009, before Hong could be employed.
