I have 2 white lines, about the width of the black line in your illustration, cutting my screen. I tried to drag from both sides and its not working... The first line is about 2/3rds of the way to the right and the second line is from the favorites tab to the end of the screen. I'm frustrated and completely computer illiterate.

If you are referring to having two windows open on the same screen: Open the two windows Right click the taskbar at the bottom of your Desktop and choose 'Show Windows Side by Side' 2. If you mean have 2 different desktops on 2 different monitors: Press Windows Key + P and choose 'Extend'
