Groveland is a city in Lake County, Florida, United States. The population was 18,505 at the 2020 census . [ 5 ] It is located at the intersection of State Road 19 and State Road 33 / 50 .
SR 19 is a mostly scenic north and south road from SR 50 in Groveland through Tavares, Eustis, and Ocala National Forest. SR 33 is the north–south road from Lakeland in Polk County to Groveland. A county extension exists as a hidden route along SR 50 to Mascotte, where it becomes an exposed county road leading to US 27 in Okahumpka.
The Groveland train depot is a historic depot building in Groveland, Florida. [1] The rail line that serviced the station was originally built by the Orange Belt Railway and was later acquired by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. The station is now empty. It is located on the northwest corner of State Road 19 and westbound State Road 50.
