The Highland Park Residential Historic District is a historic district in the Highland Park neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Almost 2,000 buildings are in the district, most of them residences.
From 1999 to 2001, Heinz built a 70,000-square-foot (6,500 m 2) warehouse on the east side and moved its headquarters to downtown Pittsburgh. The Fairfax Apartments is an historic apartment building in the North Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Built between 1926 and 1927 as the Fifth Avenue Apartments, it was renamed in 1928 after being sold to the Fairfax Hotel Company. Three PNC Plaza is a 361 ft (110 m) tall skyscraper in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.It was announced on December 19, 2005 and completed in 2009 with 23 floors. It was the tallest building constructed in the city since Highmark Tower was completed in 1988, until The Tower at PNC Plaza was completed in 2015.
