Carroll Senior High School (commonly known as Southlake Carroll) is a public secondary school in Southlake, Texas, serving students in grades 11 and 12. The school is part of the Carroll Independent School District , serving the majority of the city of Southlake, portions of northwest Grapevine , far northern Colleyville and eastern Westlake .

Prestonwood was founded on February 6, 1977, in North Dallas, [2] as a mission church of Northway Baptist Church. Under founding pastor Bill Weber, [3] the new church grew considerably, and in 1979 moved into a permanent facility near the corner of Arapaho and Hillcrest Roads in Dallas. By 1988, Prestonwood had grown to 11,000 members.
Carroll ISD initially only offered kindergarten through 8th grade; students had to travel to Grapevine for high school. The district added 9th grade in the 1961–1962 school year, and added a high school wing to the building in 1965. Carroll ISD graduated its first senior class in 1965, making Carroll ISD a K-12 grade school district.
GOC is one of three major outreach efforts of Prestonwood, with the others being PowerPoint Ministries and Prestonwood Sports Outreach. It usually has 500 persons, 70 pieces of orchestra and 100 behind-the-scenes technical crew members, a large number of whom are volunteers. [ 1 ]
