Behçet’s disease can cause intestinal inflammation, primarily featuring single ulcers and symptoms outside the intestines, which differ from Crohn's disease. Recurrent sores in the mouth and genitals raise suspicion for Behçet's. A pathergy test, where the skin is lightly pricked to check for a red bump or ulcer, can help confirm the diagnosis.
Aphthous stomatitis, [2] or recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAS), commonly referred to as a canker sore or salt blister, is a common condition characterized by the repeated formation of benign and non-contagious mouth ulcers (aphthae) in otherwise healthy individuals.
Canker sores are most common in young and middle aged individuals. Sometimes individuals with allergies are more prone to these sores. Besides an awkward sensation, these sores can also cause pain or tingling or a burning sensation. Unlike herpes sores, canker sores are always found inside the mouth and are usually less painful.

Sideropenic dysphagia can cause glossitis, angular cheilitis. [3]
Herpangina, also called mouth blisters, is a painful mouth infection caused by coxsackieviruses. Usually, herpangina is produced by one particular strain of coxsackie virus A (and the term "herpangina virus" refers to coxsackievirus A), [ 1 ] but it can also be caused by coxsackievirus B or echoviruses .
