Brazil–Portugal relations (Portuguese: Relações Brasil-Portugal) have spanned nearly five centuries, beginning in 1532 with the establishment of São Vicente, the first Portuguese permanent settlement in the Americas, up to the present day. [1] Relations between the two are intrinsically tied because of the Portuguese Empire.
On 31 December 2013, the Pan-European feed was removed in Portugal due to the launch of the Portuguese feed of Cartoon Network. On 21 April 2015, Boomerang in European Portuguese was launched in Angola and Mozambique as a partnership with DStv and it is available on the DStv Bué and DStv Grande packages.
Cartoon Network Portugal was also the first European CN feed to adopt the CHECK it 3.0 branding. From 30 May 2014 to 30 March 2017, Cartoon Network used white background graphics. From 31 March 2017 and 25 September 2024, it changed its design to a version based on the American feed's Dimensional branding.
