In June 1972, Norman writes another song called "Papa Was a Rolling Stone", which the group is initially against recording, but eventually go along with it. In a montage set to the song, Paul is seen struggling with his addiction, while fighting with his wife, and later driving around town, ending with Paul committing suicide in a parking lot.
