Kang Young-hyun (Korean: 강영현; born December 19, 1993), [1] [unreliable source?] known professionally as Young K, is a South Korean musician, singer, songwriter, and rapper. He is best known as the bassist and vocalist of South Korean pop rock band Day6 .
Young K debuted as Day6's second soloist with his first extended play, Eternal, on September 6. He also enlisted in the military on October 12, where he will be serving in KATUSA . [ 56 ] Dowoon debuted as Day6's third soloist with his first digital single, "Out of the Blue", on September 27, which is a duet with Song Heejin. [ 57 ]

Day6 (Even of Day), also known as Even of Day, is the first sub-unit of the band Day6 based in South Korea, consisting of Young K, Wonpil and Dowoon. Formed by JYP Entertainment , they debuted on August 31, 2020, with their first EP The Book of Us: Gluon .
On August 16, 2021 JYP Entertainment revealed that Young K is preparing to release his first solo album, six years after debuting as a member of Day6. [6] On the same day, Young K held a V Live broadcast and confirmed that he will indeed be releasing a solo album titled, Eternal, soon.
