Pleasant Run Farm is named after the Pleasant Run Farms residential subdivision, which hosted the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati's fifth annual Homearama show in 1965. At 670 acres (270 ha), it was the largest subdivision approved by the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission up to that time.

Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church (Egbert Methodist Episcopal Church) is a historic church in Pleasant Township, Seneca County, Ohio. It was built in 1890 and added to the National Register in 1993, along with its cemetery.
Pleasant Township was established on March 9, 1825, and was named for its scenic landscapes. On December 7, 1838 the county commissioners split off the northeast quarter of the township to create College Township in honor of Kenyon College.
