Section Thirty is an unincorporated community in Fall Lake Township, Lake County, Minnesota, United States, located four miles east of Ely and two miles southeast of Winton. It takes its name from the survey section of the survey township in which it is located.
Memorial High School is one of two schools in the Ely Public School District. The school includes approximately 144 students in grades 9-12 and another 148 students in grades 6-8 [ 2 ] with a student teacher ratio of about 12:1.
The park entirely surrounds 670-acre (270 ha) Bear Head Lake and three other fishing lakes. It was established in 1961 in Saint Louis County near Ely, Minnesota. The park also contains the woodlands surrounding the lakes, which gives an entire total of about 5,540 acres. The park also shares a large border with Bear Island State Forest.
