Forest Hill Vineyard (also referred to as Forest Hill Wines) is an Australian winery business based in the Great Southern wine region of Western Australia. Its vineyard is west of Mount Barker, and its winery and cellar door are further south, at Denmark. [1] The vineyard, the first to be established in the region, dates back to 1965.
The wines currently grown, produced, and bottled at St. Supéry include Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, along with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Sémillon, and Moscato. St. Supéry also offers proprietary blends, Élu (red wine) and Virtú (white wine), made from Bordeaux varietal grapes.
The vineyard area extends 48.21 acres (19.51 ha), planted with varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and a small amount of Sauvignon blanc. [9] The vineyards are managed by David Abreu Vineyard Management and tended to by vineyard foreman Jorge Delgado and his team. In 2006, 34 acres were replanted. [1]
