Casio was established as Kashio Seisakujo in April 1946 by Tadao Kashio [] (1917–1993), an engineer specializing in fabrication technology. [1] Kashio's first major product was the yubiwa pipe, a finger ring that would hold a cigarette, allowing the wearer to smoke the cigarette down to its nub while also leaving the wearer's hands free. If you don't believe me, you can google F-98W, F-93W, F-87W etc and you'll see that they look the same as the F-91W. If the F-91W didn't garner the attention of the media, it would have the same potential as these watches.
