ChromeOS, sometimes styled as chromeOS and formerly styled as Chrome OS, is an operating system developed and designed by Google. [8] It is derived from the open-source ChromiumOS operating system and uses the Google Chrome web browser as its principal user interface .

Folha da Manhã controls the following companies, either directly or partially, through joint-ventures with other companies: UOL – The leading Internet portal in Brazil; Folha owns 74% of the company, with managerial control; 25% of shares belong to a group of shareholders led by entrepreneur João Alves de Queiroz Filho, principal at holding company Hypermarcas.
It is the open-source version of ChromeOS, a Linux distribution made by Google. ChromiumOS is based on the Linux kernel, like ChromeOS, but its principal user interface is the Chromium web browser rather than the Google Chrome browser. ChromiumOS also includes the Portage package manager, which was originally developed for Gentoo Linux. [4]
