Khaidi No. 786 (transl. Prisoner No. 786) is a 1988 Indian Telugu-language film directed by Vijaya Bapineedu. It stars Chiranjeevi, [1] Bhanupriya, Suthivelu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mohan Babu, Nutan Prasad and Kaikala Satyanarayana. [2] [3] It is the second film in Chiranjeevi's successful Khaidi trilogy.
Akshay Kumar is an Indian actor, television presenter, and film producer who works in Hindi-language films. He had a minor role in the 1987 Indian film Aaj. [1] [2] He debuted in a leading role with the film Saugandh (1991) before his breakthrough with Khiladi (1992), first film of the Khiladi series.
Khiladi was the first installment in a series of unrelated films which had Khiladi in the title and Akshay Kumar in the leading role: Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Sabse Bada Khiladi (1995), Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi (1997), International Khiladi (1999), Khiladi 420 (2000) and Khiladi 786 (2012).

[7] In 2012, Asin first starred in Sajid Khan's multistarrer Housefull 2, which collected more than ₹ 1 billion. She then featured in Bol Bachchan and Khiladi 786, which were commercially successful with both grossing over ₹ 1 billion.
