KITE was a Kansas City, Missouri AM radio station, which broadcast from 1934 to 1942. It was initially one of four "high-fidelity" stations broadcasting above 1500 kHz, then the upper end of the broadcast band, in the 1930s, first as W9XBY and later as KXBY and KITE.
