    EDIT: Using an Xbox 360 controller works flawlessly. Just not the XB One controller. EDIT 2: I have no idea why, but the controller is now working normal again. Might be the mix of removing the controller from the Device Manager first, and then using an Xbox 360 controller. Maybe this reinstalled the necessary drivers, I really have no clue.
