Trevor McNevan (born July 17, 1978) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, and rapper. Best known as the frontman of Christian rock band Thousand Foot Krutch (TFK), he also leads side projects FM Static (pop-punk, with TFK drummer Steve Augustine) [2] and I Am the Storm ().
The Storm was an American supergroup rock band, formed in the Bay Area of San Francisco during the early 1990s. The band's first single, power ballad "I've Got a Lot to Learn About Love", peaked at #6 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and #26 on the Billboard Hot 100.
That spring, the band went on a major US tour in support of Bryan Adams, then at his commercial peak, and playing arenas, moving on to open for Peter Frampton, as well as several headlining dates. When it came time to release the second Storm album in 1993, however, the band found their label, Interscope, entrenched in the burgeoning rap scene.
In December 2022, the band announced that their 8th studio album would be titled I Am The Storm, and would be released via AFM Records on March 17, 2023. The album was co-produced by van Dyk and Shankar, and mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni, who also played lead guitars in a guest capacity on the record.
