Meanwhile, the Wikidot is straight up totalitarian. I'd say that the "Backrooms" as a wiki is a failed concept. Fandom have better entity, wikidot are just try to do some sci fi fantasy scp alike entity But the wikidot level is way way better than fandom. I started using the fandom, but have migrated to wikidot.
The complete map of the backrooms (according to wikidot) This was done by webscraping the wikidot backrooms site. The first image overestimates possible connections, while the second one underestimates the true number. Cool asf actually, seems like a never-ending, haphazard but realistic Matrix.
So you won't see, say, Level 12323 on the fandom, but it's just fine on the Freewriting Wiki. Basically, Freewriting is now the old Fandom Wiki, while the new one is more like the Wikidot. They even rewrote the Partygoers! 294K subscribers in the backrooms community. "If you're not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you ...
84 votes, 29 comments. true. That’s not all, two of the wikidot’s most famous writers 1000dumplings and natedagreat563 slandered Mr Ferrante (a YouTuber who makes backrooms content) by making several alts and putting things up such as “ferrante did this” (referring to a raid done on the wikidot’s discord server) and “ferrante eats Jew n-words” and accusing everyone on liminal ...
Fandom is more freestyle, Wikidot has more rigorous editing. Wikidot cause It's more managed like the SCP wiki It feels like your entering a confidential or government website for information. Honestly wikidot because it seems more official and feels like the backrooms is like a real thing. Both were driven to fucks by community, ima build my ...
there are some pretty good stuff in the wikidot that i think fits well with the backrooms, but everything else there just seems like a creativity dump for inspired writer's fantasy's and characters. i think the liminal archives is much more structured and realistic in its writing, while the wiki allows anything to happen. the wiki has lost its main backrooms value and that leads me to like ...
About the canon, cool. Fandom was first, no iteration of the Backrooms is canon and is up to your preference, and Wikidot is the better wiki imo. It's not like SCP, there is no real canon, but more people agree with some aspects more than others. Personally, I like fandom better.
"If you're not careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms, where it's nothing but the stink of old moist carpet, the madness of mono-yellow, the endless background noise of fluorescent lights at maximum hum-buzz, and approximately six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in. God save you if you hear something ...
