Tucson Electric Power (TEP) is an electric utility company serving southern Arizona in the United States. It is a subsidiary of Fortis, which announced its acquisition of parent company UNS Energy in 2013. [1] Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium, a baseball stadium on Tucson's south side, was once named Tucson Electric Park for TEP.
In 2003, the company acquired Citizens Communications's Arizona gas and electric operations in 2003 and renamed them UniSource Energy Services. [ 1 ] On August 24, 2004, the company restated its net income, and the new figure is $113.9 million in 2003, $34.9 million in 2002 and $63.8 million in 2001.
From 1972 to 1981 he was an attorney, then Director of Nuclear Fuel Supply and later Director of Special Corporate Projects for Consumer's Power Company of Jackson, Michigan. From 1981 to 1989, he was Senior VP and CFO of Public Service Company of New Hampshire. He was the CEO of Tucson Electric Power from 1989 to 1998.
