Alief Hastings High School is a public high school in the Alief area of Houston, Texas, United States. Originally Alief Junior-Senior High School, which became Alief Middle School, housed all of the secondary students in the district. The school's present location opened, while still under construction, for the fall semester of 1972.

Wright was born in Houston, Texas.He was a three-year letterman and two-year starting defensive tackle for Alief Hastings High School in Houston. After seeing limited action as a sophomore, he was a first-team all-district selection as a junior after registering 92 tackles, nine quarterback sacks and a blocked extra point attempt.
Amadi was also a member of Alief Hastings' track and field team. Following his senior season, Amadi was recruited by several programs, including Texas Tech and Indiana. He committed to play for the Kansas Jayhawks in early 2001, largely because Kansas also recruited his brother, with whom he played in high school. [1] [2]
Ahmed Ali (born 15 November 1993) is a Sudanese sprinter.He competed in the 200 metres at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing, but was disqualified in the first round. He also competed in the 200 at the 2016 Olympics, finishing in a seventh place tie with Jaysuma Saidy Ndure in the opening round.
