Durrell Artaze Babbs (born January 1, 1976), [2] better known by his stage name Tank, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer. He began his career as a backing vocalist for R&B singers Aaliyah and Ginuwine , and signed a recording contract with the former's record label, Blackground Records as a performing act in 1998.
