Moriah / m ɒ ˈ r aɪ ə / (Hebrew: מוֹרִיָּה , Mōrīyya; Arabic: ﻣﺮﻭﻩ, Marwah) is the name given to a region in the Book of Genesis, where the binding of Isaac by Abraham is said to have taken place.
