St. John's Diocesan Girls' H.S. School (informally known as Diocesan or Dio) is a girls-only day school located in Kolkata (Calcutta), West Bengal, India.It was established in 1876 by British missionary Angelina Margaret Hoare from Kent, England who devoted her life to the advancement of women's education in British India.

The school library was set up in 1901 by Ms. M. Storrs. In 1911, 16 girls appeared for the Senior Cambridge Examination, earning the school's present name. In 1914, the girls won the Lady Carmichael Trophy. In 1917, the Girl Guides from the School was the First Company to be presented with the Union Jack.
The school was inaugurated by Sarada Devi, in the presence of Swami Vivekananda and some of the other disciples of Ramakrishna.
