Mankera (Saraiki and Urdu: منكيره) is the principal town of Mankera Tehsil, an administrative subdivision of Bhakkar District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. [2] It is situated about 320 km (200 mi) west of the city of Lahore. Bhakkar is located in the west of Punjab.
During British rule, Bhakkar (larger in area today) was a tehsil of Mianwali District.The population, according to the 1901 census, was 125,803, compared with 119,219 in 1891.
Panjgirain is a town of Darya Khan Tehsil, Bhakkar District, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also the headquarters of union council Punjgirain. It is located on Darya Khan Kalur Kot Road. There is a basic health unit (BHU) and Govt. High School for boys and girls here. A Panj Girain railway station is also on Multan Kundian railway track section.
