The Leeds Blitz comprised nine air raids on the city of Leeds by the Nazi German Luftwaffe. The heaviest raid took place on the night of 14/15 March 1941, affecting the city centre , Beeston , [ 1 ] Bramley [ 2 ] and Armley .

After a hiatus for the band, Miller recruited a floating roster of new members in the early 2000s, including vocalist Bryan 'Scorch' Hiazlip, Doug Williams on guitar, Brian Lawton on bass, and James Greene on drums, and performed concerts under the Blitz name, Lawton replacing Williams on guitar, and a new Bassist Marc stepping in for later live gigs.
Attak marked the return of KMFDM after a three-year hiatus and the last to feature Tim Sköld as a main collaborator (he would later contribute to Blitz and the collaborative record, Skold vs. KMFDM). Leeds City Athletic Club competes in the British Athletics League and UK Women's League as well as the Northern Athletics League. Leeds is home to a number of field hockey clubs that compete in the Men's England Hockey League, the Women's England Hockey League, the North Hockey League, the Yorkshire Hockey Association League and the BUCS leagues.

During his childhood, he learned to play the violin and guitar. Eshkeri attended Leeds University, where he studied music and English literature. During this time he also apprenticed with film composers Edward Shearmur, Michael Kamen and music producer Steve McLaughlin.
