The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) (Arabic: وزارة الخارجية) is a government ministry in the United Arab Emirates responsible for overseeing the country's diplomatic relations as well as its foreign policy. [1] The ministry is also responsible for maintaining UAE's government offices abroad with diplomatic and consular status.
Sheikh Hamdan was born in Al Ain in 1963. [1] He is the 4th son of the founder of United Arab Emirates, the late president Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who also served as the emir of Abu Dhabi. [1]

Hamdan bin Mubarak al Nahyan (Arabic: حمدان بن مبارك آل نهيان; born 1959) is a member of the Al Nahyan family in the United Arab Emirates. He became the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in March, 2013, [ 1 ] [ 2 ] a post that his brother, Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan had held for 23 years.
