The channel was under controversy as Indian channel was using word 'Nepal'. Similarly there were salary issues payment for journalist in Kathmandu and owner of Nepal 1 went on controversy. The channel was then sold to another Indian media that runs APN TV in India. Now it has removed word 'Nepal' from logo but writes N1.
