The Kampar Regency covers an area of 12,481 km 2, and is an area that lies between 1 ° 00'40 "north latitude to 0 ° 27'00" south latitude and 100 ° 28'30 "- 101 ° 14'30" east longitude. The Kampar Regency is traversed by two major rivers and several small rivers.
Kampar is a federal constituency in Kampar District and Kinta District, Perak, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat from 1959 to 1974, from 1986 to present. The federal constituency was created in the 1958 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
